CIHI The Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) collects and analyzes information on health and health care in Canada and makes it publicly available. Canada's federal, provincial and territorial governments created CIHI as a not-for-profit, independent organization dedicated to forging a common approach to Canadian health information. CIHI's goal: to provide timely, accurate and comparable information. CIHI's data and reports inform health policies, support the effective delivery of health services and raise awareness among Canadians of the factors that contribute to good health. For more information, visit the CIHI website at www.cihi.ca.

Merger of Canadian Society of Telehealth and COACH:

CST and COACH merged into a single organization on April 1, 2010. e-Health 2010 is the first conference of the newly merged association. There are significant synergies and benefits in the unified telehealth and health informatics focus that serves as a single point of contact, influence, membership support, and vendor connection, all with greater organization synergy, capacity and effectiveness.

The Canadian Telehealth Forum (CTF), now formed and operational, continues to advocate and connect the telehealth community while supporting and promoting integration of Telehealth and electronic health record capabilities. e-Health 2010 will be a showcase demonstrating the strengths and growth of health informatics, telehealth and all aspects of health information and will promote the integration and connection of services, solutions and technologies positively impacting health care delivery in Canada.
